CB Molisani literally means Molisani Foods and was born from an idea shared by two gentlemen and friends, Pasquale Felice and Pasqualino Fierro, who, driven by a common passion, began to cultivate healthy products of the earth. Moreover, CB is also the acronym of Campobasso, a city immersed in the infinite green of Molise region, precisely in the territories of Vinchiaturo and Fossalto, where the different production systems are located and where the Felice and Fierro families have a history that begins in 1965 and has been handed down for generations. Yes, right in Molise, one of the smallest regions of Italy, where there is still an uncontaminated environment, the cultivation takes place at about 800 meters above sea level, in technologically advanced greenhouses and placed above a source of pure water that flows directly into the tanks of cultivation.
Always in search of innovation and testing, but in full respect of nature, CB Molisani through the new methodology of hydroponic cultivation, wants to bring to the tables around the world the healthy flavors of the past. The current industrialized agriculture has important negative aspects, in particular the use of chemicals, which is now a major consumer concern, especially those more careful and concerned about the effects that the chemical substances used may have on the human organism.
A small ancient world
A small ancient world is the message and value in which CB Molisani identifies itself. Agricultural action is used with the same method and approach as before but with the use of new systems of “green” technology. In fact, the territory of Campobasso, since ancient times, was an area of sannitic agricultural settlements, and it is strong the intention of the company to bring the production as well as their origins: good, beautiful and above all healthy. Today, the offer of hydroponic products focuses on the cultivation and distribution of salads and strawberries, with a unique flavor and rich in healthy nutritional properties.
